Do you remember my knitted cardigan from G-star that I wrote about in one of my very first blog posts? Yes, I am finally wearing it! It’s April and even though I can’t immediately switch to summer dresses as I would love to, I could gradually start wearing fewer layers. I’m so happy that I can finally get rid of my winter coats and jackets and start wearing only cardigans and sweaters as a top layer.

A knitted cardigan will keep you warm in the colder months. It’s a great transitional season item, and light cardigans also work great during a summer evening out.

Long, chunky, open knit, classic, oversized, cropped, boyfriend, buttoned. There are so many variations to pick from, you’ll definitely find something to your liking out there.

One small tip about wearing cardigans: when wearing a cardigan, try to elevate the look by styling it with some gold jewelry and a pair of tall leather boots, in my case a pair of UGG boots that keep being trendy season after season.

I added some pieces of gold jewelry, more specifically a druzy stone necklace and a gold star bracelet from Deliah Dust. I absolutely love this druzy stone necklace! The shine of the druzy stone is just stunning. Druzy stone necklaces are individually unique with a beautifully textured appearance. The sparkle of the white druzy stone was perfect and couldn’t be any cleaner.

If you prefer to stay on the safe side then pair your cozy cardigan with your favorite pair of jeans, just as I am doing. If you’re feeling more adventurous and want to create a bit more of a dramatic look you could pair it with some black pants or a skirt with some nice black stockings.
