It’s time to add a new backpack to my capsule wardrobe for traveling. In today’s blog post I would like to share my experience with you about shopping at Kipling, and why I picked one of their Kipling backpacks.
The story of Kipling starts in 1987, when three designers founded and established the brand in Antwerp, Belgium. Kipling distinguished itself from other brands by producing colorful and playful bags and accessories. The brand combines quality and style to create the ideal accessory that enables you to express yourself. Over the years, Kipling has created a loyal community and has become a global leader in selling quality and durable bags and accessories that will impress everyone.
I decided to go with a black backpack from their selection of bigger Kipling backpacks. The City Back B backpack works great in a capsule wardrobe for traveling. I liked the subtle animal print that the backpack has and all the extra pockets it offers. But the real reason why I personally got this Kipling City Back B backpack is the size, it has a volume of 16L and plenty of room to store things when traveling. The front compartment is pretty big in size and works great if I need to quickly store or retrieve items. The side pockets are perfect for storing a water bottle or a fancy thermos bottle that are getting more and more popular each day. The adjustable and padded backpack straps make it super comfortable to carry on long trips. The backpack is made out of Kipling’s water resistant crinkle nylon and comes with the signature Kipling monkey keychain.
Jazz up your style with a red polka dot dress. I recently found myself inspired by the ’60s and the polka dot trend that was boosted into popularity back then.
The Poppy Lux Evette fit and flare dress has a bit of a ’60s vibe. The dress is nipped in the waist, and its red color makes it refreshingly poppy. With the sleeves at half length, it’s also a great transitional piece. The Red polka dot dress features a crew neck style neckline, half length sleeves and comes with an underdress. Lastly, I outfitted it with a tie belt with a flower accessory.
I paired it with Mikey London bracelets and a pair of Pittarello loafers with gold embellishments. If it’s a bit chilly outside you could also style the red polka dot dress with some ankle boots and a leather jacket.
For storing and keeping my iPad cozy, I am using a Digi Touch Sleeve black zebra iPad case. The Kipling iPad case is stylish and is made from a soft fabric keeping your iPad safe.
You look beautiful, love the red 🙂 xx
